To try and eliminate cramps you need to look at staying hydrated better on the bike and also take a salt electrolyte drink like Nuun or High 5 Zero which helps to prevent the muscles from producing an excessive build up of lactic acid.

In order to manage your hydration - always take on fluid before you feel thirsty as when you do feel a thirst quench your showing the early signs of being dehydrated.
