I know there are 1000s of threads about creaking. I have never really experienced it before so I sort of glaze by those threads ๐ BUT now it is happening to me!
the bike: my Cannondale BadBoy
the creak: NOT my BB...NOT my headset... NOT my pedals. it comes from my seatpost. I adjusted the torque on the seatpost collar so it's not overtightend... no avail.
the solution?: What can I do to quiet this? it is a bit annoying. could there be something I needto have my LBS look at?

Try taking out the seatpost and cleaning the inside of the seat tube and outside of the seatpostwith clean cloth. Apply a fresh light coat of grease to the inside of the seat tube. Do the same with the seatpost collar and fastener.

will do... My first thought was sand, as well... but I did not clean the area as thouroughly as you recommend. Thank you.
