Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    1/3 cup margarine
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 cup chopped celery
    1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
    2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon sage
    1/4 teaspoon thyme (or marjoram)
    8 oz. can mushroom pieces
6 1/2 cups dry bread cubes
1 10 1/2 oz. can cream of chicken soup plus water to equal
    2 cups
    1 beaten egg

Saute onions and mushrooms in margarine until tender, approximately 7
minutes. Combine all ingredients, adding egg last. Place mixture in
crockpot, cover, cook on high for 45 minutes. Turn heat to low for 5-8
hours. Determine if you should use the full amount of liquid by the
moistness of the cubes. For a large recipe (13-14 cups of stuffing)
double all the ingredients except the soup.
