    hi all,

me and my friend are planning a cycling trip around singapore.
probably from 5 pm to next day 3pm.

i would like to ask from experienced folks,

1] what are the places we surely enjoy going during that time frame?

2] what are the provisions we need to bring along? [food, water, wrench etc?]

3] any thing and place we should be aware of? maybe even avoid?

4] any plan B? [if it rains, or bike breakdown etc]

5] any modification on bikes to ensure smooth and enjoyable journey?

    6] anything else?

your comments, help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thank you for sparing a thought for us.

    sincerely

    WOW YOU LUCKY DOG YOU!!!

I've never been there but I usually dont leave the house without a pump, spare tube, tire levers, and a multi-tool for quick adjustments. If you're going to do a multi-day trek I'd recommend even brinnging a few extra tools along, (say for a snap'd chain) ; spoke wrench, spare tubes (2 at least, front and back), plenty of H2O, and road snacks. I'm not sure about the weather, I usually check the weather for the area and see if a rain jacket is needed or not. O, you may also want to bring a spare batt for your cell phone, in case you get into trouble, it's nice to have a working cell to call for help.

As far as adjustments for a smooth ride, well do you like how your bike rides now? if so I'd say maybe clean and lube your drive train. fill your tire with max psi (harder tires = less roll resistance = more speed less effort).

Have a blast, take a lot of photo's
