  1. Hi All,

I had crutiate re-attachment surgery on my right knee last October and although I started running
again after 5 months my left leg becomes exceedingly painful when I run. I assume I'm
over-compensating and using that leg instead of being well balanced, perhaps even limping (which I
know I do at the start of a run).

I'd like to get back to doing sprint and olympic distance tri's in the next year but unless I cure
this problem the pain after the swim and bike would almost certainly lead to a DNF.

    2 Questions:
    1. Is this just the normal reaction to this invasive surgery?
    2. Are there any specific exercises I should be doing to correct the problem?

    Thanks
