  1. Hi all
I have just finished setting up a Giant CRX-1 in extra small for my 8 year old daughter, narrowed the bars, sold those nuisance Shimano click flick push shift ugly 440 shifters, removed the front deralleur and let her get use to riding a bike with substancially bigger wheels.
Now that it had no shifters I thought what am I to do, all I wanted was 4 maybe 5 gears on the rear and the small chainring on the front so she learns to spin change gears and I will then expand the gears as she grows.

Ding, a great thought. I installed a set of Shimano barend shifters on Paul's thumbies, WOW! how good are they. Makes you wonder why Shimano went rapid fire.

So for all of those having shifting problems with flat bars and road drive train, get PAULS THUMBIES & SHIMANO BAREND SHIFTERS & never look back.

Works indexed or friction for us cycle guys who know when it is in gear correctly.

    Have a nice day
