I wonder why everyone thinks waffles are a Belgian thing? You have a Brusselse (Brussel/Bruxelles)
Wafel, Luikse (Luik/Liege) wafel, and maybe some more. But it's a city-thing, not a country-thing.
I (together with about 80% of other Belgians) rarely, if ever, eat a waffle of any kind. Fries
(frieten/fritten) on the other hand...
Anyway, If you want to go cycling the province of Limburg is another good bet. Limburg (province in
Belgium & Netherlands), as the greenest province of Flanders, has an extensive cycling-network. The
Belgian & Dutch cycling-networks of Limburg are also interconnected.
No hills though.. unless you count peoples' driveways.
