I just got a new cycleops fluid 2 trainer, and I was wondering if anyone with a power tap had any idea what speed = how much power. Their website has a graph that kinda shows the numbers, but it only goes to 700 watts and is hard to read. The guy at the lbs said to use the numbers from the kinetic site, and they would be close. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm still waiting for my computer to arrive to try it, but you can put a Kurt Kinetic Power Computer on your bicycle and plug in special constants for the Cycleops Fluid2, to get a rough idea about Power when you're on the trainer. Otherwise, if you already have a cyclecomputer that is connected to your rear wheel, you can search for conversions from speed to Power for the Fluid2. Or you can spend thousands and get a real power computer.
