Beth's journey starts in the coastal town of Astoria, just outside of Portland, Oregon and she will cycle through 15 states to finish in the Old Port District of Portland, Maine. The 44-day trip includes 40 riding days covering approximately 3,600 miles with 131,300 feet of climbing and 4 rest days. The shortest day will be 30 miles and the longest 125 miles.
Inspired by the millions diagnosed with Parkinson’s who, like Beth's dad, live their lives with courage and grace, she's dedicating her efforts to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF). Team Fox is the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s grassroots community fundraising program. Its members include thousands of people worldwide who generate funds for Parkinson’s disease research. 100% of all funds raised through Team Fox go directly to MJFF to advance its mission to accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments, and ultimately a cure, to people with Parkinson’s
