I am planning a cycling/wwoofing trip around Ireland. (For those who aren't familiar with wwoof here is a link to the main site: http://www.wwoof.org/index.asp) My goal is to bike from one farm to another, roughly following the coast line. I was thinking I would bring a tent as well and be doing some camping along the way. I was thinking of starting in Dublin and going south, my fist farm being in wicklow. I am planning to start my journey mid-February. Does anyone have any advice on cycling at this time of year? Also any advice on what type of tire treads were used when biking in Ireland? I am quite a novice when it comes to biking, any other advice pertaining to Ireland specifically would be helpful.
