I saw a thread recently where Dr. C Suggested a few good books on running physiology. I coach cyclists but my girlfriend is a pretty good runner and i'd like to be able to apply what i know about training to running. (i'm an ex collegiate runner, but was never coached well until i began cycling)

thanks

They are both good but I am really enjoying Martin and Coe. I am reading through both of them currently. Now that spring break is nearly upon me, I should have time to finish them!

Also take a look at Lydiard and Jack Daniels. Two very different approaches that have both worked for quite a few people.
