I bought one off ebay new, but can't get it to work, so my advice is don't!

  3. Mine stopped working about 4 months after I bought it new. I had it replaced under warranty and bought a wireless kit for it.
That lasted 3 weeks...until I turned on the new LED front lights, which appear to have fried it for good.
Didn't want to go through he hassle of sending it back to Germany (at my own expense) so got a deal from LBS on a 'Pro' Digi-W which is unaffected by LED lights, pouring rain and being crashed into a tree. I've had the 'Pro' for about 2 yrs. and it's great...also significantly cheaper than a Sigma.
The one I had was a Sport bc600.

hey man, im not sure about that, but if u can, get the cateye astrale 8. its a pretty good one, however its got wires but has been with me for ages and a couple of crashes and still working strong 😄

  5. I have the BC1600 with cadence (wired) and have been very happy with it. About the only problem I've noticed is that the cadence sensor seems to be affected by moisture. However, I don't do much riding in the rain, so I can live with it.

No direct experience with the BC1606L, but I think it replaced the BC1600.
