cycling in Mallorca

I am taking a trip in June with my wife and both our parents. My wife and I are avid cyclists from Vail Colorado and both sets of parents ride as well. We are interested in renting a Villa in Mallorca for the week. Does anyone recommend a good region of Mallorca to base a cycling trip from? Would you know of a good quality bike shop or rental service where we can get good equipment? We will be there the 2nd week of june. My wife and I will then go over to the Girona Catalonia region for a week of riding. If you have any info on that area it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
