Was hoping to get some advice on good roads for riding in Maryland. I used to ride in Charlottesville, Virginia which has amazing rural roads for riding - an awesome location. I live near DC and it's not really possible to put in more than 30 miles or so without repeating the same roads multiple times, and now that I've cut 45 pounds and am down to 127 pounds I'd like to start hammering out metric centuries or longer. Instead of driving down to C'ville I figured I could cut the commute in half and ride in Maryland, perhaps the Libertytown or Laytonsville areas. If anyone has information on good areas/roads it'd be appreciated! Thank you!
