I just got my clipless pedals and shoes a couple of days ago. Now I adjusted the cleat, but there are two problems:
1) The holes in the shoes and cleat doesn't allow the cleat to be angled toward the inside of the shoe (from bottom view). Meaning when I'm riding, my toes want to point away from the bike more than is allowed. The float only allows it to point closer to the bike.
2) I kept looking at the cleats, and they were angled further in the wrong directions than I wanted. I found out that once I adjusted them, rode around the block, and twisted my foot out, the cleat actually moved. I had that baby tightened in REALLY tight, but the cleat still moved. In the OPPOSITE direction I want it to.
Anyone know what I can do about this? (My shoes and pedals are from www.performancebike.com, they are the Elan Forte shoes and forte classic pedals)
