Cyclist killed in collision with truck.
A cyclist has died after being hit by a truck in Queensland.

The accident happened late yesterday at Lytton in Brisbane.

Police are investigating.

Does anybody have more detals?

A MALE cyclist has been killed in a collision with a truck
on Brisbane's southside.

Police said the accident happened shortly before 5pm (AEST)
yesterday on Lytton Road at Hemmant.

Witnesses told police the man had been carrying boxes in one
hand, when hen he appeared to lose control of the bike and
collide with the semi-trailer.

Initial reports of the accident said the victim was a
pedestrian.

Update - Hemmant fatal: Just before 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, a
male cyclist believed to be in his mid 20s, was killed after he
collided with a semi-trailer on Lytton Road, Hemmant. Witnesses have
told police the man was carrying boxes in one hand, when it appears he
lost control of his bicycle and collided with the truck. The Accident
Investigation Squad is investigating.

Note: The incident was initially reported as a pedestrian being hit by
a truck.

A male pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle on Lytton
Road, Lytton this afternoon.

The incident occurred near the intersection with Freight Street about
4.45pm.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known.)

Serious traffic incident, Tarragindi: A 14-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital following a traffic incident at the intersection of Cracknell Road and Shaftsbury Street, Tarragindi about 6.30am this morning. The girl had been riding her bicycle delivering newspapers when she was struck by a light truck. She has multiple broken bones including a broken pelvis, shoulder, leg and jaw. Police have spoken with the driver of the truck. The Accident Investigation Squad is investigating.
