i'm looking for a cyclocomputer with the following features:

-backlight w/good night visibility
-wireless
-under $80USD, preferably around $50
-current/average speed, lap timer, distance

any recommendations or warnings?

i'll be putting it on a hardtail mtb with street tires, and using it primarily for riding laps on a paved course around the park.

there are a boggling number to choose from, and local shops here in NYC seem to have a very limited selection and nothing on demo.

thanks,
d

Check out the cateye strada wireless. It has everything you want except the backlight. It might be hard to find a backlit computer in the price range your looking at.

I just got this Cateye Micro Wireless Bicycle Computer, really great product, directions for operation a little confusing but once I get the hang of it it's great. I like the wireless feature, much better than wires lining my bike frame. I recommend mounting on the rear wheel fork and rear wheel. This will allow easy transport and taking off and putting on the front wheel.
