I was wondering if there were any rims out there made specifically for 'cross so I can build tough wheels...I am willing to avoid any carbon stuff as Zipp makes because i will be riding this bike in rough mtb trails this summer.

Mavic A719, Velocity Dyad, Salsa Delgado-X all fit this category. I have used them all and find them all good.
Can you just tell us what make and model the link is supposed to lead us to?

They're WTB 700c's. Get good spokes/builder and no less than 32 hole would be my preference.

Wath is good spokes for you?... and has RC said the link was for WTB CX rims...
