It looks ideal for my iBook. I already have a Dawes pannier, and
it's OK, but it is not quite waterproof. In rain, water seems to
enter through the seams underneath - I'd need the computer bag to be
a bit more impermeable than that.

On the very rare occasions that I actually need to carry a laptop
(rather than sticking whatever I'm working on on a USB stick and using
whatever machine when I get there), I use a Tucano Second Skin around
the lappy and put it in a Ortlieb Bikepacker pannier. I'm usually
carrying a change of clothes etc. too so I don't have to worry about
the lappy moving about in all that space.

It seems to work quite well and it's good for putting the lappy in a
non-laptop rucksack so you avoid carrying the big sign saying "Mug
me for this".
