  1. Good day, New to the forum. I am looking for some advice. Yesterday I road it the George Hincapie Gran Fondo (62miles)which was a total mud fest. I discovered this when cleaning. Should I be worried about this. Thank you for your time and advice!

  2. The George Hincapie Gran Fondo - a great event! Congrats on completing it, especially in those muddy conditions!

Regarding your concern, it's understandable to worry about the impact of mud on your bike. Corrosion and wear on moving parts are definite risks. However, if you've already cleaned your bike thoroughly, you've taken a big step in minimizing potential damage. Make sure to lubricate your chain and cables, and inspect your brake pads for any debris. It's also a good idea to check your bike's bearings and pivot points for any signs of wear or corrosion. With proper maintenance, your bike should be good as new.

Thank you, but I thought I had attached photos. I will try to figure out how to get the picture uploaded. Thank you.
