I like Ben's comment: "A bicycle helmet is a one-shot device that has
to be looked after. Even dropping a helmet accidentally can reduce its
effectiveness by 50 percent or more." If you're ever at a triathlon
just watch the way helmets are treated during the bike to run
transition.

Would someone care to send the BMJ the paper referenced from their
journal and point out how their latest helmet policy fits with this
paper in their Journal?
