David Millar is detained as a witness in doping investigation

Notice how it's someone from France detaining him...

First Lance Armstrong, now this guy... Who is next? Damn French

Well yeah, because he was in France.

The difference, I believe, is that seven people from this guy's team were already busted for doping. He's probably being questioned as a witness in that incident.

Well, one certainly cannot accuse the French of playing favorites, or looking the other way for the local team.

The news reports state that Millar is being detained as a witness at this time. I guess the French have enthusiastic ways of asking questions.

Looks like he was more than a 'witness'...

"David Millar, who was released Thursday after 48 hours of questioning, admitted to police that he used EPO, according to French newspaper l'Equipe. According to the newspaper, several empty vials of the banned drug were found at his home in the French Atlantic resort town of Biarritz."
