Hi, I came across this on the web and thought that others might be
interested in it!

Below is a link to the recording of the phone call, made on July 21
2004, between Greg Lemond and Stephanie McIlvain (who worked for
Oakley, one of Armstrong's corporate sponsors, liaising between him
and the company). In it they discuss Armstrong's famous 'hospital
room' admission to the use of Epo and other performance enhancing
drugs. Lemond was seeking assurance that McIlvain would stand as a
witness if he decided to stand up to the threats to cripple his
business interests in cycling if he didn't retract his comments about
Armstrong's doping. McIlvain makes it clear that she had indeed heard
Armstrong's admissions and would testify but only if subpoenaed. As
things turned out she instead committed perjury after it was made
clear that if she did speak the truth about Armstrong her employment
with Oakley would be on the line, something she could not risk, not
least because she had a handicapped child to care for.
