  1. Hey all,

After recovering from an illness, I've noticed that my LT seems to be much lower than it used to be, and I'm wondering if this is really the case, or if I simply cannot generate enough power to make my heart work up to the same level as I used to. Can one's LT fluctuate downward by 4-6 beats due to muscle loss? Also, can being anemic/ having a low hematocrit cause a similar sensation?
Just curious as to why my workouts seem just as difficult and intense at a lower heart rate than they used to. And to be clear, I'm not fatigued going into workouts, and feel strong throughout - my HR just isn't where it used to be.

    Thanks for your input!
