The Polo-driving gobbin who tried to overtake me by the school on the
Woodford New Road this morning clearly hadn't read it...

Sadly she managed to brake and pull in behind before sweeping lots of
expensive pieces off the underside of her motorcar :-(

Lunch time expired, but now seems OK.

Can you try it again?

Tradebit still (20060802 22:15) say expired. How about a pointer to a
plain, ordinary, old-fashioned, static, jpg?

Try

http://denmead.netfirms.com/GC.pdf - a plain, ordinary, old-fashioned,
static, pdf. :)

The solid line shows that motor vehicles are not allowed to enter the
lane. Cyclists can cross the line or ride along it if they want - just
as a bus can move partly or wholly out of a bus lane to pass a cyclist.

On average in Britain, you're more likely to get a head injury walking
a mile than cycling it.
So why aren't we all exhorted to wear walking helmets?

Are you sure? The colour of the tarmac on either side of the bike lane
makes it look as if the normal nearside wheel track is down the centre of
the bike lane. If the road is the same width both sides that modest-sized
hatchback supports this.
