derailer adjustments

Hi Bob, Since your Low-High setting were essentially correct before you
replaced spoke/removed wheel, all should've been fine in this regard
without resorting to having to adjust the low-high limits. This
basically has nothing to do with loosening the cable.

I would've just screwed the adjustment barrel in a bit for the cable
adjustment, pulled the cable hand tight, cinched the screw onto the
cable, and then made minor adjustments to the adjustment barrel only.
Unless I'm missing something inheritly different with a Suntour Rear
Derailleur?

As far as I know, there's never a default setting with any derailleur,
regardless of make, or model. Identify which screw does what, then
shift accordingly, and adjust till the chain is properly seated on
either large, or small cog.
Not only rotate in the direction of pedaling, but also try it backwards
too, to insure the chain is properly meshing without any skipping, or
noise. By pedaling backwards, this will also check/test for jockey
wheel/cage alignment.
