Derailluer difference

I'm converting my 8 speed to a 9 speed dura-ace and was wondering if I will have to change the derailluer also? I have the caseete, shifters, an chain so far.

If the present RD is pre 9 speed DA, you need a different one. Any shimano SIS RD other than a pre 9 speed DA will work.
