Details About Specialized Crosstrail Limited 2012

Hi there, being new to this forum I hope I'm posting in the right place..

I recently had my Crosstrail Sport Disc stolen and now I'm looking for a replacement.

I have found a Crosstrail Ltd 2012 locally and the asking price is £600 ($900/ Euro 850). The bike seems to be in very good condition. It's a little far away for me to just go and view so I've come here to see if you guys can help me out.

What I'm interested to know is (presuming that everything is fine on the bike);

• is the bike worth that price?
• Are the components a significant upgrade vs Crosstrail Sport Disc?
• And most importantly - how does it compare in terms of weight to the Crosstrail Sport Disc (which I would've liked to have been a little lighter)?

I've looked at the specs and can't seem to find details on the weight of either bike to help me out.

Any help at all is greatly appreciate so thanks in advance

Weight is rarely listed on manufacturer websites, because it varies alot across differently sized bikes and different paint finishes.

It does sound pretty expensive... Used bikes usually sell for about half of their original price, if in -very- good condition... So that crosstrail should cost around 1700 euro which I don't think it did...
