John Devine took the overall victory and the USA Cycling National Development Team finished third in the team category at Volta Tarragona, a UCI category 2.12 race in the Catalan region of Spain, southwest of Barcelona. Devine captured the overall victory with a winning time of 13 hours, two minutes. The team collected numerous jerseys with Devine also coming away the Best Young Rider jersey, as well as the Best Foreign Rider. Tejay VanGarderen finished second in the King of the Mountain category. The Americans displayed an incredible team effort with all seven riders not only finishing, but contributing to the third place overall team finish.
