John Devine led the USA Cycling National Development Team, finishing seventh overall at the G.P. du Portugal, March 30-April 1. The G.P. du Portugal was the first race on the six-stop UCI Menandrsquo;s U23 Nations Cup series. Devineandrsquo;s strong performance helped launch the United States into sixth place overall in the Nations Cup standings andndash; the primary factor in determining the number of start positions for this yearandrsquo;s UCI Road World Championships. Devine also placed second overall in the Mountain Classification and the USA Cycling National Development Team placed fourth in the team standings.
