Diabetes question???



After four seasons off for health problems I'm finally going to race again. I was diagnosed with
Type 2 diabetes a few years ago; no insulin yet, diet controlled.

I've had low blood sugar spells a few times on long runs. I'd appreciate any input on diet, what to
consume before and/or during a race or long trainings.

This summer I'm planning on three sprints and one half-ironman. It's been a long road back but I
