    I picked up a bit of a newspaper story recently that indicated that discussion of euthanasia via electronic means (mainly phone and email are targetted) will be outlawed by new Commonwealth laws. I expect that the Telecommunications Act will be amended to achieve this.

    I haven't had a chance to check legislation or media sources yet but has anyone seen more details?

    This appears to be a small thing, but it appears to be another curtailment of free speech. And a sign of more to come?

    Yes, but I can not remember where.

    Yep sedition laws.
    Probably already illegal to send recipe for ATDP to mate so he knows to
    watch out for people buying acetone, battery acid and hydrogen peroxide
    in supermaket.

    This is actually worse, I've got more of these three than when the
    recipe involved citric acid. "Really officer, I was told to get it to
    clean out my steam injectors" They'll probably impound my cordial recipe
    as well.
