Donalds
Grahams
Corbetts
Munros...

It's just another way of saying, "I'm ticking a list, I'm checking it
twice, going to find out which are boring or nice." Alternatively it
could be a means of identifying where "wherever" is if there are more
than one of them.

So what's the D for in the Ben Venue TR? Did you slip off the C and
hit the D instead?

No its a D.... deliberately a D. Any ideas?

Clue3 If I did a TR of , say , Black Mountain, I might use a '[M]',
or "[EM]" )

Edward Moss, compiler of the first E&W list. (Unless someone out
there knows of an earlier one)

The pioneers are getting forgotten, replaced by the newer listers....
Grahams are sometimes called Docharty-Grahams in recognition of their
"Munro figure" . I have seen the term Docharty in older literature,
refering to 2000 -2500' hills.

I use the two names interchangably, and threw the D in mischievously.

If only I could afford a copy of Docharty.... $Hundreds...
