Free riding...

Just wondering what your definition of free riding is. If it's the same as Jerry Daniels, you are
both very narrow minded. It seems to me that you are more or less accusing free riders of ridng off
trail in that picture, and if so, I'd think again, because those trails could have just as easily
been caused by XC riders who don't know any better. There's nothing there that I see to free ride
off of. It's people like you and Jerry who segment the off road cycling world. Anyone can ride off
trail, riding a Huffy or an Ibis, a totally rigid bike or 9" of travel.

I had the misfortune of playing golf with a BLM official from that area several years ago. When he
found out I raced MTB's he became an instant asshole to me.

Anything that involves pedaling is hated by the BLM as they are generally a bunch of rednecks who
hate anything but big trucks, snowmobiles and ATV's.

They are the B. of LAND MANAGEMENT, not the SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE or NATIONAL PARKS SERVICE.
They could care less about environmental isues and pander to the moto off-road lobby groups.

I sent e-mail to the Fruita chamber of commerce - its obvious that the BLM has no intention of
listening. But the town needs to know that someone's doing something that will inevitably hurt their
economy. All the work that's made Fruit one of the top MTBing destinations, out the window.

All you have accomplished there is showing Chet that you are a moron. So now it's a few million and
one that know of your stupidity.

Thanks for the constructive assistance dudes. Our time of need is now and when trail
work/constuction is not an option for visitors, your work with writing is far more work than many
will ever do for any trails.
