Difference between Speedplay X cleats and slimline cleats?

    Is there any difference between plain old speedplay X cleats and
    speedplay X slimline cleats? From googling this group, it seems like
    there is, but if so, are both types still on the market? I see them
    advertised both with and without the word slimline:

    No diff. Those are both X series (free rotation) cleats.
