Differences between Shimano XT/LX 2003 and XT/LX 2002 ??

Hi,

can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 2003 and 2002 Shimano mountainbike ranges?
And I mean other than the XTR range! I've searched the net, but couldn't find anything but the hot
XTR news, so I guess changes are small, and maybe even just cosmetic. (as usual?)

In particular, I'm wondering if it's worth paying 30$ more for an XT 2002 crankset instead of a 2003
LX version. In other words, is XT 2002 still better than LX 2003?? Any advice is welcome.
