  1. I forgot to take any pics, darn ๐Ÿ™‚

    I made stir-fry at the request of the eldest child. Thinly sliced chicken
    and pork, marinated in hoisin sauce, oyster sauce and soy with a bit of
    scallion and garlic for good measure. Broccoli, snap peas, julienned
    carrots, water chestnuts, bok choy, and bamboo shoots for the veggies.

    I make a sauce to accompany that my daughter loves, just equal parts brown
    sugar, and soy (about 3-4 T each) with 2-3 cups broth and 2-3 T cornstarch.
    I mix it in the bowl the meat was in, so it gets some of that marinade in
    too, then pour it in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Easy and tasty.

    Sounds good... but for awhile now, I've substituted Arrowroot for corn
    starch.

    Has less of a tendency to "break" when frozen or refrigerated. :-)
