Yes im new to this forum and yes i searched for both of those terms and didnt find anything. Im basically going to be using this bike for transportation so i dont have to drive as much but i also want my bike to be able to handle anything i throw in its way. that is why i was looking at urban/dirt jumping bikes. i came accross a 2005 Kona Shred at a local bike shop and it was on sale for like $649 plus another 10% but when my friend and i went in there no one even recognized that we were there and we were probably there like 20 minutes.
so my mane ordeal is for the money i would like to spend no more than $700 and i would like it to be a good reliable bike. i have found that most all well known companies have a dirt jumping/urban bike available but wanted to see what peoples opionions on them were.

GT Ruckus Trail 1.0, Ruckus Trail 2.0, Ruckus DJ
and all the other dirt jumping/urban mountain bikes out there.
also has anyone on here bought any bikes off of ebay and how was your experience... im sceptical about it.
