Disc brake recommendation

I've bought a Twinsix Standard Rando, which I'll be using for some touring and commuting, and am looking into which disc brakes to buy.

I'm considering:

TRP Spyre (mechanical)
TRP HY - RD (mechanical/hydraulic hybrid)
Shimano RS505 (hydraulic)

Obviously the Spyres are the cheapest, but is it worth spending a little more?

Also, 140mm or 160mm?

I've got Tektro Lyra's on my current commuter, and find them fairly average.

FWIW ...

I would opt for the TRP Spyre because I thnk it is the one which is designed to be used with ROAD levers ...

It should be both easy to set up AND (especially) maintain ...
BUT, I'm going to say that I think you may want the TRP Spyke which is designed to be used with most mechanical MTB levers which would otherwise typically be used with V-brakes.

PLEASE NOTE: I could have the particular calipers mismatched with the particular mechanical levers in MY mind & the Spyke may be the one designed for Road levers.

BTW. I think that if your fork accommodates a 160mm rotor, then that is what you want to use ...

140mm rotors are probably better suited for the rear ...

If weight is the issue, then use CENTERLOCK hubs-and-rotors.

The Spyres are easy to install and easy to keep in good order. I have read that the pad adjustment screws back out over time, but I don't use them - I've taken care to centre the calipers carefully and then just use the barrel adjuster as the pads wear. They stop well, but which disc brake doesn't?
