The rider clarified that the fork snapped when braking at 30km/h+. He
had done a burn in ride with a trailer (50kg load). The bike is brand
new, the brakes normal mechanical disc brakes. Does anyone want to
venture a guess why the fork snapped? Are they abysmally underdimensioned?
I'm not the owner of the bike, thankfully he didn't get seriously hurt.
