Distance Tire?

Personally, I like the fat fireball for distance. Nice 'n cushy.

For unicycle speeds you don't need the aerodynamics of the thinner
tyre. A fatter tyre has better cushioning, which helps balance and
therefore speed. When run at the same pressure (and with the same
tread profile), it has less rolling resistance. Of course it is also
more comfortable. So yeah, for distance, go for smooth and fat.

For maximum speed (as in racing), skinny. But skinny will not be
comfortable! For best results you run it at the highest pressure you
think is safe, and feel every nuance of the road.

If you want to ride far and be comfortable, go fatter. It weighs more,
but will cruise over the bumps a lot nicer!
