Got an inner tube, want to make a headset boot (external seal for lower race), how do I do it? How
can I join up the length of rubber (or anything else?) in a way that will make it convenient to put
on/off (without having to remove forks) and get just the right tension, while looking neat? I'm
thinking about glueing on some velcro to ends of rubber. Any other ideas?
I have got a Lizzard Skins neoprene thingy made especially for the job - but it's too small (short)
for my new fat forks with weird protruding wings at the top. I'm using an A9 lower race (with bugger
all internal sealing - therefore nice'n'smooth) and no muduard. A combination I'm happy with if only
I can add a bit of headset protection outside, so please don't bother suggesting different headset
or mudguards of any sort ;-)
cheers ~PB
