  1. ok sorry, total noob. here are some pics of the tires. i am going to do triathlons. also, the sizes are 700x20 and i wonder if that is a little narrow, maybe go with 700x23 which seems to be somewhat common?

    i bought the bike used, have no idea of the miles on them, they are hutchinson brand.

    I think the tires look ok.

    When you replace them, get some 23mm wide tires. They won't add any additional rolling resistance, and they'll give you a more comfortable ride than the 20s .
