Do You Like Trucks?

Not even with a 5.7 gasser would I attempt to run Fancy Gap towing. A 10,000' foot pass over the Rockies would be a challenge.

The 183 C.I. diesel with a 3,000-4,000 pound drag on it would be interesting. To say the least. I've got a Buick with more torque and there's no way in hades I would put two tons of Pod trailer/gear in it and behind it.

I guess if you went slow enough it might work. How long that would last as a tow rig? Good question. I would like to try out the little diesel, myself. I heard Dodge...'scuse me...Ram is going to stuff it in the 1/2-ton this year. Might make a good light duty hauler/commuter vehicle. Can't be any worse than Chrysler's gas V6 engines, that's for certain. I'll wait to see what the real world combined mileage is...and for Ford to build a competing model.
