I haven't really been able to ride much this year, which sucks. 2015 started with a lot of promise and went downhill fast about March/April for me. Looks like it may be Sept before I can ride again, although I may be able to set up my trainer and do a little of that. It's medical, it sucks, and it is what it is ...

So, help me think of what else I can do to be ready to go again and still feel connected to the sport and this community.

What happened? :D

You can give me your bikes up until you get better. :D Are you a 56? :D

Well, I'd say keep watching TDF, talking with your training buddies and maintaining your bike as much as you can. It helps, really. As much you can keep connected with the sport/hobby, better are your chances to get back on your earlier momentum when you start riding again. If you completely forget about cycling for that long, you may probably have some troubles starting again.

I had been through this thing but mine was a shorter break. Good luck!
