  1. Due to a transfer at work I drove to my old office to move all my personal and official property to
my new office in the city centre. I was absolutely amazed at how much personal stuff I'd amassed
there in five years. Two towels, shower stuff, trousers, shoes, bag of emergency stuff that I
sometimes need 'cos I've forgotten to pack it in the morning (Tie, socks, bus fare, inner tube etc),
jacket for wearing if we need to go to the pub at lunch-time and bright yellow wouldn't seem right.

Anyway, I'd like to report that those new blueish front L.E.D. flashers are quite effective. On two
occasions the bright flickering in my wing mirrors (once on the outside and once on the inside)
really caught my attention and alerted me of an overtaking/undertaking cyclist.

I noticed, however, that both riders were using them as their only forward light. I'm not sure that
this is a very good idea. Personally, I use mine in conjunction with my twin headlights.

Anyway, just to let you know, there ARE a good thing for alerting traffic that you are passing.

I'd agree. I find it difficult to judge the distance to a moving flashing light. Far better with a
    constant light plus flasher.

    agreed.
