The wheelset I am using for training has a dura-ace/open pro/dt revolution (17/14) setup. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It rides smoothly over the not-so-smooth roads of my normal training routes, thanks to the shock-absorbing qualities of the DTs and the open pro. I weigh 135 pounds. It has been almost a year now when I last took the wheelset to the shop to be trued.

About 2 weeks ago, I used the wheelset for racing in a masters/executives series race which was ran in a 60-km route with lots of pavement cracks and not-so-occasional potholes. The wheelset received really heavy abuse, as what can be expected in a race of about 150 riders. AExcept for a rather anticipated slight wobble of the rear wheel, the wheelset generally is still A-ok.

Same here Im from Bacolod City Philippines. Every rider I know uses DT revolution. I have two MTBs at present and they are with DT Revolution. My previous bikes were with Revolutions. Go for it and enjoy!
