Hello
My mate has given me his old road bike (my first in over 10 years) and I've been doing it up with new parts etc.

Ive fitted a set of Tektro R720 dual pivot brakes and can't work out how to get the toe-in right. The rear pads are both toed OUT slightly.
The front right toe-in is ok but the left is way, way out.
Is it a case of bending the arms?
Is there a way of adjusting the angle on the pad?

It was never like this with v brakes !

Driving me bonkers.

Any help welcome.

Thx
Weed.

Loosen the pad/holder retaining bolt, manoeuvre the pad into the correct position on the rim, grip the brake lever as tightly as you can to hold the pad in position with the brake action, and then tighten the bolt as you maintain the pressure on the brake lever. Works for me.

Just done it now.
Hahahaha so so easy when you know how.
artemidorus you are a star.
Many many thanks that was doing my head in.
