Anyone heard anything on the new Dura-ace 2004 yet? (aside from the asinine rumors that about 11 speed electro-mechanical shifting).

it will be 10 speed, and probably not available to us common folk until this time next year. mark it down...march/april of 2004.

Big change it is going 10s. See it late this year for high retail in the USA.

Hopefully Shimano will not continue their nasty restrictions to dealers and Dura Ace will be had anywhere for competitive prices. But so far they are only authorizing 6 dealers online/mail-order so prices may be relaly high when it comes out.

The levers will have a much shorter "throw" to change gears.

IMHO, the crankset and shifters look butt ugly in the pictures I've seen so far. Dura Ace should look lightweight and beautiful... these don't. I sure hope the pictures aren't doing it justice.
