Neither the EA-70 stem nor the EA-70 carbon bar instructions nor the Easton
web site actually give the proper torque, and it is likely NOT on the stem
face plate where those places tell you to look.

Easton tech support says the maximum face plate torque for a 2-bolt EA-70
stem (and probably any other 2-bolt stem as well) and EA-70 carbon bar is 65
in-lbs. Do not exceed 65 in-lbs. If it slips at that torque something is
whack and needs to be replaced.

The bars have a bit of a D-shape on the upper flats and are comfortable to
grip, at least for me. Some flex can be felt at the end of the drops, but
that is not necessarily a bad thing. Makes it comfy. Up on the hoods they
are rock solid.

YMMV
